Newsletter November 2009

Newsletter January 2010

Welcome to Deminor's new newsletter

Dear Subscriber,

We are happy to present you Deminor's new newsletter, which we are launching at the occasion of the release of our new websites www.deminor.com and www.mydeminor.com.

A quick visit of our group website www.deminor.com will show you that Deminor has received a new face, but our values and mission statement remain absolutely the same. We help investors in European listed and non-listed companies to get more value out of their investments, to protect their investments against governance risks, and to recover losses in cases of corporate wrongdoing or market abuse.

Deminor has also launched its new damage recovery portal www.mydeminor.com. Through this new web site investors can register for new or existing damage recovery cases and get access to all their personal and case related information. They can also pay on-line for our services. This new web site, which is replacing the former Deminor Claims Management System (DCMS), will enable Deminor to federate large groups of investors from various European countries, which has become an essential condition to turning these damage recovery cases into a success. More than 30,000 investors have already registered for one or more of our cases, and the 2008 financial crisis has led to a sharp growth of the total number of registered clients.

Fortunately, we have been able to bring cases to a successful end. In September 2009, we reached a settlement with KBC Bank relating to CDO's sold to its private banking and corporate clients. More recently, we entered into a settlement agreement with Citibank Belgium pursuant to which the bank will make a settlement offer to all its clients having purchased Lehman Bother Notes through its intermediary.

Speaking about the financial crisis... You have not received our newsletter for a certain period of time, for which we apologise. We have literally been overwhelmed by new cases, and all our energy has been spent on managing them in the best interest of our clients. Fortis, Lehman Brothers, Natixis, Madoff feeder funds,.. only to mention a few of the cases on which Deminor is playing a leading role for investors on a pan-European basis. Our clients have obviously been informed through our client newsletters, and most publicly available information has been taken up by the financial press. However, the time has come to re-launch our web-based newsletter. As before, you will regularly find updated information about our ongoing public cases in our newsletters. We will also comment on recent legal developments in the field of investor protection or corporate governance.

Enjoy the reading.

With best regards,

Erik Bomans,
